We provide FCE’s (functional capacity evaluations) at O'Brien Physical Therapy.

This test can take from 2-8 hours and includes gathering baseline data for return to work capability for the post-injured worker.The FCE includes comprehensive musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, static and dynamic strength, carpal tunnel, endurance, and job specific components.

The FCE is typically ordered by the managing physician and is conducted by a licensed physical therapist and qualified technicians.The FCE is a “controlled” test with all of the information gathered compared to the WorkSTEPS industrial database, which is the largest of its kind in the country.
